Last night was the first planning meeting for the first ever Burns Park Cache Bash. It was good to get to meet a few people instead of just doing everything by e-mail and forums. It was also great to see the amount of interest there is in geocaching, not only in Arkansas, but throughout the country.
Afterwards, Tigger and myself scooted on over to the covered bridge to find the Bayou Blues cache and find out for ourselves why everyone was worried about loosing their glasses in the water. Well.....we know now....you'll have to find out for yourself :-).
Also I checked with the Burns Park Campground today and the do allow tent camping, each site has H2O, electricity and a shower house / restrooms. The cost is $14.00 a night. Just let them know you're coming down for the Bash and they'll try to arrange all together. I'll be there sometime Friday afternoon and am staying Fri & Sat nights.
